Join us in Switzerland, for a special CD presentation concert by award-winning Ukrainian harpsichordist Dmytro Kokoshynskyy. The event celebrates the release of his new album, Music for These Troubled Times, and will feature the performance of Maxim Shalygin’s “Khôra” for solo harpsichord.
Written specifically for this project, Shalygin’s contemporary composition serves as a bridge connecting the modern world with the 16th and 17th centuries. The CD explores the theme of melancholy, pairing Renaissance English works with Shalygin’s new piece to highlight music’s timeless power as a remedy during difficult, uncertain times.
