Met jouw bijdrage steun je de compositieopdracht aan de geweldige Oekraïense componist en musicus Maxim Shalygin voor de Muziekdanstheaterproductie “O Earth, Earth”!
Dans (euritmie), muziek en recitatie spelen met elkaar in deze voorstelling, waarin de zorg voor de aarde centraal staat.
In het koor der sterren van Nelly Sachs, bezingen en bewenen de sterren het leed van de aarde, stellen hoogst actuele en dringende vragen en vinden uiteindelijk een nieuw perspectief.
Maxim Shalygin is gevraagd bij de motieven van deze tekst muzikale intermezzi voor bajan te schrijven die gedanst zullen worden door Lisa Dunker en Elsemarie ten Brink.
De bajan is een instrument dat klinkt als een orgel dat kan ademen, en niets menselijks is het vreemd…
De tekst zal in verschillende talen worden vertolkt door professionele euritmisten en door amateurs (kinderen en senioren). Jong en oud verschijnen op het toneel en vertegenwoordigen als zodanig de hele mens in zijn zorg om de aarde.
